Magnepan SMG - 2-way Quasi-Ribbon Planar-Magnetic Speakers This sale includes the speakers, the stands and the original box plus packing
material. These were used for a few years back in the 1980s and have been stored in
the original box since (over 25 years). Just recently I took them out of the box to test them and they still sound
great but I no longer have the set-up, or the space, to appreciate these for
what they are. These will work with a lower powered amp they really shine when they are driven
with lots of power from an amp with a 4 ohm output. Also, they should be placed in a room that allows for some space behind them in
addition to your other placement concerns. CONDITION: The oak frame/trim is in very good condition. The sound was
excellent when I hooked them up recently. There is a small hole in each
\"sock\" which I don\'t recall when I put them away. They might have been there
but I don\'t recall. The fabric of the sock feels supple, not brittle at all.
There are places out there that make/sell new socks, in your choice of color. Lastly, in addition to the hole in each sock the external plastic bit of
one input is broken. This is an external problem only and does not effect
the connection between the plug and the jack. Please look at the pictures and ask questions before offerding. I can allow for

I will not attempt to shop these.At 70lbs a drop on a corner or any side could
be significant even in a well padded box.
