This ebony Mason & Hamlin 5\'8\" Model A grand piano, serial number 36971, was built 03/25/1927 and originally sent to the Denver Music Co. The seller\'s father purchased the piano on 06/19/1975 from Fairfield County Piano Repair Co. in Southport, CT. The piano was rebuilt and refinished by Fairfield in the spring of 1975. When the seller\'s father passed away, the seller had the piano moved to Boulder, CO in August 1993. The piano is in excellent mechanical condition. The case, however, has some scratches and nicks at the corners. The sound board has a few cracks, but the ribs are secure. The piano is very responsive with a beautiful full tone.
