• HISTORY: This beautiful high-endamplifier waspart of the Tom Quon Estate (Bay Area, San Francisco, CA). Mr. Quon purchased this unit between 10-15 years ago from Taurus Audio in Newark (Fremont) CA. The shipping label on the top of the crate confirms this. The unit was shipped from the Mastersound Factory in Vicenzia, Italy to Taurus Audio. Mastersound began production of its amps in 1994. This was the 129th, 300BPSE made (as indicated on the factory crate). This unit was possibly (with that production number) a \"Cesare designed\" unit.
• The Quon Estate commissioned the California Historical Radio Society (CHRS) to consign specific audiophile equipment with a major portion of the proceeds to fund CHRS\' new building project. We purchased this amp to help with that endeavor. The CHRS Audio Team tested the unit and declared it as \"working/new\" This amp appears to be very lightly or never used.
