Vintage McIntosh Speakers in Good Condition
Sound is strong - Great Bass! All drivers appear to be working properly but for the lower two orange soft dome drivers (part #036016). I think these are the \"mid-mid\" drivers, and I am getting no sound/signal from these two drivers.
5-way floor system has two 12\" woofers, 8\" lower-mid, 1-1/2\" soft dome mid-mid, 1-1/2\" soft dome upper-mid and 2-1/4\" tweeter.
Contemporary design has walnut veneer finish. Solid wood grille frames with plastic vertical slats having matching walnut laminate. Black grille cloth behind plastic slats.
The matching MQ-102 component is being sold individually in another sale.One of the woofer surrounds was replaced years ago with rubber surround material. All other surrounds are foam, in good shape.Some scratches and chips observed on the cabinets. No damage observed to the grills. Look carefully at the photos please. Cabinets may require some re-finishing, and I would suggest restoration of the crossover capacitors..
