• German ceramic, etched, 1L, tower figural inlaid lid signed Schlitt.
• The Text on the body reads:
  “Der durstige Ritter”
• And translates to: \"The thirsty rider\" or more appropriately \"The Thirsty Knight\"

Overall a nearly mint condition stein with very strong colors and great presentation... One of my favorite Mettlach steins and, in my opinion, a must for any collector. The pictures do not do this piece justice. On the subject of shipping and handling, I have a 100% success rate(knock on wood) with the steins I have packed and shipped arriving to their new homes in perfect condition. This stein will be well packed and shipped fully insured, USPS priority or if you -the buyer- prefer FEDEX home/ground delivery insured.
