I found this painting at an estate sale in a fine home along the Massachusetts coastline. It was amongst a small portfolio of unframed seascape oil paintings, all done by the same artist. Itis in excellent originalcondition. Judgingby the patina on the back of thecanvas board, I am estimating this painting to be from the 1950\'s to early 1970\'s time frame. Undera black light it shows no signs of paint loss, in-painting or repair.Unframed the painting measures 22\" wide x 18\" in height and paired together with a vintage arts and crafts mission oak frame with a silver liner (which is included) it measures 27\" x 23\". The vintage frame is in overall good antique condition with some minor surface chipping and abrasions consistent with its age.
