This childs toy sad iron is dated 1895. It is 3 1/2 inches long & 3 1/4 inches tall. It has a spring latch mechanisim to release the handle from the iron(See pictures).

This is marked in the cast iron \"PAT MAY 21 1895\". We have made no attempt to clean this. Being sold as we bought it from an Estate Sale here in Virginia. We are leaving any cleaning up to you.
