Minneapolis Moline Garden Tractor, Lawnmower:
$2280.00

Hello,Thank you for taking time to look at our family\'s old MM mower. My Dad says it is time to send her to a new home. His hope is that it goes to someone who is a collector or can appreciate what it is.
The tractor is a 1967 Minneapolis Moline that my Grandfather purchased new from a local dealer. (Below in the pics you will see my dad riding the mower, summer of 67\')It is a 112 model with a hydrostatic transmission. He had it about seven years, then was given to my Dad when he purchased my Grandfather\'s house. The mower was used in the summers till about 1987 when our family moved. Since our new home had a small yard, the mower did not see much action. It was occasionally started and driven but rarely did any work. The mower has always been garage kept with wood placed under the tires. I credit this for saving the original Good Year turf tires from dry rot. For their age, they are in remarkable condition.
The engine is an old Kohler and runs great. It has never needed to be rebuilt. The clutch was replaced by a family friend this past summer and works fine. I do hear some clutch noise though when the tractor is at idle. I do not know if this can be further adjusted out or not. Mechanically, it\'s an honest old tractor that has been well cared for. Headlights work along with the old cigarette lighter.
The mower deck is heavy cast aluminum. Everything works and spins with the old blades recently replaced.
My dad had the seat recovered once, but has not held up well. The edges are now coming apart.
The tractor\'s paint is mostly original with some touch up having been done about 30 years ago. I remember we had an old can of MM spray paint which was used to touch up the running boards and battery box.
The tractor comes with its original snow blade, tire chains, manuals, and even has the original key chain attached to a set of original keys. (There is two, only one seen in the photo below.)
With all this said, I believe this could be one of the best unrestored MM mowers out there. I rarely ever see these tractors, especially with family history. This is your chance to get a good one. offer high and offer often. Tractor is sold as is. Buyer is responsible for pick up.
