This listing is for a fully functional 1950\'s vintage BATTERY OPERATED NEPTUNE TUG BOAT / SHIP w/box as shown. It is in excellent - near mint condition. Tin litho is nice and undamaged. The correct 5 actions of this toy are as follows: (1) Mystery bump-n-go action, (2) Chug chug engine sound, (3) Shaking action, (4) Whistle / fog horn like sound, (5) Red light on top of ship. Very cool to watch in action. No corrosion anywhere. Battery compartment is clean. This is a \"MADE IN JAPAN\" toy listed in Don Hultzman\'s book, COLLECTOR\'S GUIDE TO BATTERY TOYS, copyright 2002, second edition. It is listed and pictured on page 126. It is a 1950\'s era toy made by the M-T Modern Toys Co. It has a rarity of 2 on a scale to 10 being the rarest, and a value of $250.00 in C-10 condition without the box. The original box is included. It is in fair / average condition. It does have a large number of clear tape repairs. This would make an nice addition to any collector of B.O. or Boating themed toys. Displays nicely.
