This is an outstanding find of a mint condition, unused,animated wall clock that was produced in the Black Forest of “Germany” about 10years ago by “Josef Engstler,” one of the finestclockmakers to ever come from this region of the world! The Engstler Family has been creating some ofthe best animated clocks at the same location in Villingen Germany since 1897. I personally purchased this clock from Josefseveral years back and forgot I had it.It’s still in the original box and in perfect cosmetic and workingcondition! The clock is made to lookvery much like a highly detailed, very happy puppy dog complete with a heart shaped tail! The use of color and attention to detail isjust breathtaking! The clock dial has awhite backdrop and features easy to read, black fancy numerals to mark thehours and equally fancy matching hands to point out the time. The phrase, \"Made in Germany\" appears on the lower dial and the \"Engstler\" name is embossed on the back of the clock. The clock is equipped with a batteryoperated, very efficient clock movement that requires just one AA battery; youprovide. What’s really cool are the eyesof the dog…they move back and forth as time ticks away; fascinating! What’s more, the dog\'s tail or pendulum moves back andforth too; awesome! The clock is inpristine condition and works perfectly!It’s the ideal size too measuring about 6” high (not counting the pendulum), about 2\" at its deepest point, and about 4 1/4\"at its widest point. The clock comescomplete as shown with his unique pendulum, instructions in English, German,French, Italian, and Spanish, and the original box and packing materials.
