Model1863 Remington \"Zouave\" Rifle Saber Bayonet and $200Scabbard

This is avery nice original saber bayonet for the model 1863 Remington rifle.Better known as the “Zouave” rifle bayonets. Thisbayonet has a full-length blade with a beautiful brass handle. Thehandle has the correct “BH” inspector initials along the spineand the correct \"C\"@ \'\'l\'\' engraved on each side of thehilt, close to the handle. TheBlade has a \'\'S\'\'on the side onthe top of blade.The bayonet is accompanied by the originalleather and brass scabbard. This is a very attractive completeexample of the Civil War Remington model 1863 rifle bayonet &scabbard.
