I have this beautiful Modern Betsy McCall Doll. She is 8 inches tall. She is in mint condition and appears to have never been played with. I do not have a box. Her hair is red-auburn synthetic material. It is saran. She has straight bangs and hair with lots of curls. Her sleep eyes open and close with ease. She has more makeup than the older version of Betsy dolls. Her eyes are blue I think but almost seem purple? She has peachy lips and rosy cheeks. Pale orange eyebrows. She is not hard plastic like the older dolls. She seems to be a vinyl-plastic. No odors. She can hold any pose. Her knees bend at the knee. No breaks or cracks.She is in excellent condition! No marks or scratches. She seems to be \"unmarked\" no McCalls or Robert Tonner or American Character.. This doll is wearing a darling new dress that is pink-white checked cotton material. It has white lace around the sleeves and around the skirt. There is a darling white rose on the front and some embroidered flowers going over both shoulders. It snaps in the back The skirt has an attached slip. White pantaloons are under the dress. She also wears white \"Betsy McCall\" maryjane shoes. Both buckles work. And sparkly white socks. A white ribbon came with this outfit. It can be a sash or tied in her hair. It\'s up to you! Thank you for looking. She is a great doll. Note: this doll is 8 inches tallShe may be from 2,005. I am not sure. I could NOT find any other doll with curly red hair so she is rare. I do not have the box but the doll is perfect. I am trying to find out if she is articulated or not. She is in great condition with bending knees.This doll is like new and her dress is brand new! She is very nice!
