I don\'t know much about this so I\'ll attempt to describe what I have here. Based on my limited research, this appears to bea Kris dagger with Asian origins. The dagger has a 8 1/4\" blade and is 10 3/4\" overall length.

The hardwood handle appears to be a fish of sorts and looks to be set in silver where attached to the knife. The handle and attachment feature intricate carvings.
