MXR Omni model 180 rack with footswitch controller analog delay just serviced:
$799.00

Up For sale is a very rare MXR Omni 180 rack unit plus footswitch. Set up to run on US power (~110-120V).Features:Compressor (I *think* it is some version of the dynacomp)EQDistortion (I *think* it is some version of the distortion +)Analog Delay (Appears to be a similar circuit as the famous \"green\" MXR analog delay. Same ICs)Analog Flanger/ChorusWhen these show up for sale, they are usually either broken (especially the delay and chorus circuits) or they are missing the footswtich (and it is not usable without the footswitch). This particular unit that I am selling includes the footswtich, and all effects have been tested and function perfectly.
Serivce notes: Delay and Chorus/Flanger were just calibrated (I replaced the SAD1024 in the chorus with a working one) - this IC alone costs ~100 dollars) The delay IC tested fine. Note that the trim pots for these two functions are very sensitive and will sometimes require re-tweaking. Right now, I have them sounding great. The delay is unbelievable (same circuit as the rare big box MXR analog delay pedal), but things can shift during shipping. Adjustment is not difficult, and I could advise you how to do it (if it slips out). You only need your ear and a screwdriver. For good measure, I also re-soldered all of the control pot connection points, since the design is a bit flimsy and they can wiggle loose. Everything is secure and working perfectly. One bad trace on the bottom of the board was jumpered. One screw is missing from the top. A couple capacitors and logic ICs were replaced. If you treat this well, it will last a long time.
I did not bother to test the loop function. I make no claims as to its functionality (though I have no reason to believe that it does not work). If you contact me and tell me how to use it, I\'ll check it for you...
Overall good physical condition. Has scratches and rack rash. Two black replacement push buttons (which could use a dab of glue to stay on, but I\'ll leave that to you. They are a close match to the originals, though they are a bit shorter. Otherwise original. Compressor footswitch can sometimes require repeated hits to trigger, but it does work.
Sale does NOT include 1/4\" cable to connect footswitch. Any normal 1/4\" TS instrument cable will work.
What you see in the pictures is what you get. nothing else is included.I have done my best to state this item\'s condition accurately. Please carefully read my description before offerding so that you will know what you are getting. Sold as is, no returns.
Ships from Sweden via Posten.se service (does not ship from the US). Thus the high postage.
