Up for sale is a vintageNational Company NC-57B general coverage receiver. All original knobs and switches which are all functional. The dial cord is broken, but tuning/fine tuning turn freely. The cabinet face is in very good condition with clear and crisp lettering. The top had a big sticker on it which was removed, but left a sticky residue. I am sure this can be cleaned off. The sides are in very good condition with minor wear. The radio was brought up slowly on a variac for several hours. The tubes lit evenly. The dial lights work. The sounds strongly come through but no stations were picked up/. AF gain/volume works, but got scratchy.The chassis is dirty but complete.

This is a good, handsome, solid classicNC-57B. Basic restoration would bring it to full operation! Overall condition is an 8 out of 10.
