Native American artist Donald Ruleaux\'s CAPRIOLE print:
$45.00

CAPRIOLE is a limited edition offset photolithograph print of five colorfully costumed Pow wow dancers. The figures were originally painstakingly painted in water color using magnifying lenses to help with the detail of the individual dancers. That it worked is evidenced by the printer increasing the size from the original painting\'s figures which were approximately thee and one half inches in height to the prints final figures being about five inches high. The carefully painted details carried over to the enlarged figures!
As was done for DANCE WITH ME the five individual figures were taken from two of the three original watercolor paintings, which showed a total of 29 dancing figures. For this print the figures are presented vertically. Overall size is 33.5\" high and 8.5\" wide. The printing was again done on white 100 pound cover stock paper to match the previous thee prints of this series. The edition was limited to 950 signed and numbered; and, 150 Artist\'s Proofs. Eventhough the prints were not signed all at the same time my inventory was all hand signed by the artist in pencil and numbered in pencil by the artist after they were signed.
