Up for offer is a nice 1934 GeneralElectric Model S-22 tombstone style wood case tube radio. It measuresapproximately 20 inches tall by 14 inches long by 10 inches wide. I have nottested or plugged in the radio, so it is being sold as is for parts or repair.Assume that some work will be needed before it will work. Overall it is in goodcondition. The exterior shows general moderate scratching, scuffing, wear andfinish wear throughout. There are spots of nicking to the wood along the bottomedge and along the columns on the front left and right sides. The exterior islightly dirty and could use a general cleaning. There are spots of moderate toheavy veneer flaking along the back right and left side edges. All of the knobsare present on the front of the radio. The front speaker grille is intact andoverall in great condition with no rips or tears. There is a quarter sized spotof discoloration on the front as well as two smaller pencil eraser sized spotsof discoloration. The top shows moderate water spotting throughout. There aretwo spots of veneer flaking along the front left side. The top handle ispresent and in great condition. The interior of the radio appears to becomplete with all parts and components. It is quite dirty and could use a goodcleaning. There are several cut/frayed output cords that will need to berepaired. The speaker cone has some cracking around the edge (looks to havedried out through time) and will likely need to be replaced. Some of theinterior components show surface rusting. The power cord is in decent conditionbut should probably be replaced. See pictures for a better idea of condition.
