This is a nice example of a German Fencing Sword Saber that dates from the late 19th to early 20th Century. It is mounted with a slightly curved, round tip, unmarked blade that measures 34 inches in length. The blade has survived in nice condition with a light aged patina now developed. The large metal basket hilt guard remains tight and sturdy framing a lovely fishskin covered hilt that is very healthy and tight in its condition as well. Overall measuring 39 7/8 inches in length.
