This is a good example of a Prussian Imperial Cavalry Officer\'s Sword that dates from the late 19th to early 20th Century. It is mounted with a slightly curved, plain blade that measures 31 1/8 inches in length. The blade remains in very nice original condition with only some very minor surface blemishes. The nicely detailed guard is adorned with a lion\'s head pommel and also remains in nice condition framing a lovely composite hilt with its twisted wire wrap still tightly in place. The black lacquered metal scabbard remains in very nice original condition as well with just some very minor scuffing but no dings. Overall measuring 37 1/2 inches in length.
