Up for sale is a old vintage German 2 pc back full size violin for restoration. The lightly figured 2 pc. curly maple back measures 14 1/8 by 8 1/8 inches. There are no bassbar or soundpost cracks on the violin and the neck is solid. The scroll and pegbox are in good condition. The pegs turn smoothly and the fingerboard has slight wear and is also taped for different positions. The soundpost is standing inside the violin and there are no open seams. The violin is labelled as a \"Stradivarius Made in Germany\" and is also stamped \"Student\" on the back. The violin is for restoration. The violin has age related scratches/wearmarks on the varnish (please check pics). The strings are old and will need replaced. Please check pics. and email questions.
