OOAK Custom Fairy Barbie Doll Rerooted in an especially Fine Rose-Colored mohair with
a lot of curl to it. This Mohair was my first attempt to dye a batch myself and it was meant
to be a Bright Auburn. As you can see, it ended up a sort of Rose Shade. This color seemed perfect for a Fairy Barbie doll and I found this lovely, rather Solemn-Faced doll. As the original doll came with an unarticulated body with a molded on body suit, and I happened
to have this beautiful Blue Mermaid outfit that would go very well with that Rose Hair, the match was made. The Mermaid needed an Articulated body to sit on her rock (or wherever) so she was rebodied. And in case someone would prefer a Fairy to a Mermaid, I had this other Outfit in a nice green that would also go with that Rose Hair. The Doll Head, Body
and both Outfits are used, but everything is in Very Good condition, barring some wear to
the Lame of the Mermaid Outfit.
This doll is not intended for children. The Mohair cannot be brushed like normal doll hair. After the reroot which tends to leave the hair pretty \"wild\" I do, very carefully, comb the
hair, but after that one time, I usually only wet the hair and finger-style it then let it air dry
to bring up the natural curl. This doll\'s hair has been wetted and allowed to air-dry about
half a dozen times to bring up as much curl as possible. The Mohair is a Medium Pink
color with some lighter shades. I have taken pictures with and without the Flash.This is a Beautiful, and truly Unique, Doll to add to a Collection, Use for Display or OOAK.
Note - the \"stand\" the doll is sitting on is not included.I am smoke free but not petless. I cannot be sure a stray cat hair won\'t end up on an item
or packaging, so please take this into consideration if you are allergic.
