“WHITE RABBIT”
custom Blythe doll by Liquiriziadolly
The base doll is a Takara Blythe “Cadence Majorette”, bought new NRFB for customising.
The doll has had the following custom work done:
sandmatted and new face-up applied with high grade Sennelier and Rembrandt artists’ pastels and watercolour pencils, sealed with several layers of Humbrol Spray (UK’s MSC equivalent).
nose, philtrum, lips and teeth extensively carved to resemble a rabbit shape
backplate with matching design and signed by the artist
4 pairs of new eyechips handpainted by the artist
Eyelids handpainted in acrylics depicting a dark woods scene
New eyelashes
Boggled, gaze correction, sleepy eyes
New pullstrings with beads and charms to match her colour scheme
hair has been washed and conditioned and her bangs have been trimmed shorter
magnetic rabbit ears handmade by the artist from polymer clay, handpainted and gently etched for a fur-effect
Her outfit set has been especially tailor-made for her by Eurotrash and consists of:
countess long-sleeve dress
collar (removable)
bloomers with rabbit tail
socks with tiny pom-poms decorations
pair of black shoes
Also included is a gift set of 3 original photographic prints of the doll taken by the artist and signed on the back by the artist.
Additional points to note:
because of factory glue on the doll’s backplate, a tiny bit of the dome is literally fused to the backplate. This does not affect the doll\'s function or the doll\'s outside aesthetics once fully assembled in its current form, and is totally invisible from the outside.
because of the extensive carving, the nose has been reinforced on the inside with a small amount of epoxy. This has been added simply as a precautionary measure for extra strength and durability. The faceplate was not pierced or damaged in any way during the carving process. The epoxy does not affect the doll\'s function or the doll\'s outside aesthetics in any way and is totally invisible from the outside.
