Sale is for one original factory 4.2 Litre E Type Jaguar engine , this is from the later series one cars with a manufacture date cast in the block of 26-5-66 (May 26 , 1966) It is incomplete but most major components are with it including the bare block , crank shaft , head , oil pan and flywheel . It is a matching number head and block . The engine number is 7E52110-9 . It is complete as it is shown in the pictures with all parts pictured included . The only other parts included but not pictured are 4 pistons with 4 rods (1 rod missing a cap) and an oil sump pump assembly . There are no other parts included other than what is pictured and mentioned . This engine was disassembled 30 years ago and then has been stored in a trailer ever since . Over the course of time , some parts went missing or were used for other projects . Generally , all components appear to be in good rebuildable condition . The piston walls look true and do not appear to have been previously cut or honed , there is some oxidation from storage . There is some oxidation to the crankshaft journals from storage and it will likely need to be re-surfaced (cut) .We gathered all of the parts available , photographed them in loose form for the buyers advantage to show the true condition , and then lightly assembled just for the sake of transportation purposes . We will shrink wrap the whole unit and strap to a pallet and deliver to Roadway / Yellow freight terminal free of charge for shipping . All charges from that point forward are the buyers responsibility . You are welcome to make your own shipping arrangements otherwise or local pickup from 01569 is also acceptable .
