This Original Combat Used, Japanese Air Force or Front line Army Soldier Cap has had its share of Combat use. Ageing and the turmoil of War has made this Cap a little fragile. The Real original fur, isn\'t falling off on its own, but canrub off, if the cap is worn.
This is a normal occurrence with these types of items when they get very old, as they get dry, shrinkage and crackling occurs. This is a Combat item, it only makes sense that it will get dirty, Clean at your own risk.
This cap would make an excellent display piece indeed.
There are many in the field WW2 Period Repairs.
All of the repairs are correct and still holding the cap in good shape.The liner is moveable and soft, some of the stitching has come loose, but nothing is falling out of the cap.
Usually when someone tells you that a cap cant be worn and some of the stitching is loose, that would sometimes mean the cap is falling apart and in no good shape to have in a collection.
I want to make sure that the buyer knows that is Not, the case with this cap. the cap is in great Displayable condition, and is not Falling apart.
The cap is in the same condition as it was when it was brought home by the U.S. Vet. These pieces are combat used and needed to be repaired often. This is a wonderful display piece, that shows the Vigor\'s of war.
