Original WW2 IJA Imperial Japanese Combat Soldier Cold Weather Wool Uniform - Tunic
This Original IJA Wool Tunic is in the exact original condition, as it was decades ago.. All of the Original Buttons are intact with Original WW2 Attachment Thread. Everything is perfect the way it should be. I am unsure of the meaning behind the Metal badge on the left front side of the tunic. It is held on by two flat prongs, the prongs do not go all the way through to the back side.. The Military Ink Stamping is Beautiful, very easy to read. A Special point is that, this tunic is Named to the original owner that used the tunic. Inside of the pocket, that is located on the inside of the front, is written his name. Please see the photos. On the inside of the tunic, there is a reddish, brownish staining throughout the inside white lining, it could be rust, but I find that to be Highly unlikely. I believe the Staining to be Blood. Also on the reverse of the Tunic, Unfortunately there is some moth damage, please see the photos. These spots can be repaired or left alone, I personally believe the Tunic looks Wonderful just the way it is. this is an Excellent original example.
Although the tunic is 100% Original, I still performed all of the Authenticity Tests. I checked the Whole tunic under the Strongest UV light available, No Glow anywhere. I also performed the Burn test on thread from all over the tunic and there are NO Synthetics anywhere.
