Hello. I am selling my friends two mono power amps made in Japan by Kenwood but sold in the USA. He had to move overseas and did not want to take them as they are very heavy (around 28.5 lbs. each). He used them for a long time to drive his power hungry electrostatic speakers. Several years ago I replaced many of the small electrolytic coupling caps which brought them up to date electronically. That\'s the kind of work I do. These things are built like a tank or steel brick. Nothing fragile. My friend ran off some spec\'s from the Internet. They will do a continuous power of 150 Watts each into an 8 ohm load. Frequency response is an amazing DC to 200khz (+0/-.5 db) and DC to 600Khz (+0/-3 db). Input sensitivity and Impedance 1Volt 50K Ohm. They were pretty expensive in the day.

The cosmetic condition is pretty nice. There are a few scrapes and small nicks here and there. Probably an 8-9 on a 10 scale. Because of the combined weight of the two amps I am forced to see them as LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. I live in the Seattle area, so if your nearby or will be visiting soon you can pick them up at my house or a place of your liking. If you pick them up here I can demo them for you so you know they work (which of course they do). recommends cash at time of pickup, not Paypal (something about tracking).
