This is a machinedbrass model tube coupling fitting to fit up your assorted plumbing projects.

It is machined and threaded for 5/16-27 (1/16 NPT) model engineer thread to 5/32\" tube.

This is a compression fitting. Place your 5/32\" OD copper tube in the tube connector end, put wrenches on both pieces and turn to tighten. If you have leakage, turn some more. As you tighten the fittings, there is an internal part being compressed to tighten around the tube. Basically, once you start the process, there is no going back. Great for higher pressure lubrication lines and has Hydroed out at over 300 psig cold water pressure. We use these on cylinder oil lubrication and sensing lines for 100 psig steam.
