1988 Glow in the Dark Evil Dead Tracer.
There\'s Something Very Cool about this guitar. It\'s Very rough looking. But it was meant to be such.
It plays like dream but looks like it should be in a Cabin Deep in the Woods. The body was repaired at some point (before I got it) and it aint pretty. lol. There was a crack that went thru the body just abover the volume knob. It\'s solid, but was never smoothed out. You can see the bump if you look closely. ....I figured this would make a good Rough Guitar to paint Evil Dead on it. I always meant to air brush the rest in but never got around to it. It\'s Glow in the Dark Paint on top of Black Gloss Paint. There is No Clear Coat.
The neck\'s finish is worn off from playing, but the frets are great. Go figure. The action is amazing. Truss rod functions like it should.
I installed a MotherBucker that kicks ass with 25k. The Floyd Rose I had laying around, but actually works great. It is a speed loader.
I Use Fender Bullet Strings to keep the strings from popping out on Dives. They work great. Wish I knew that befor I drilled a small hole on each end to try and keep em in.
The back of the guitar is not painted. What you see is the Nitro Sealer. I thought it would be cool to somehow have Book Of The Dead painted on it. Maybe someone could do that.
The Guitar is very rough looking. It functions like it should, just cosmeticly rough. Too much to mention. Just look at the pics and don\'t expect anything to be \"normal\" cosmetically. Again, it plays really well and can be gigged with. Cool for a Halloween Gig!
