This is a very hard to find ORIGINALold PennsylvaniaRailroad Steam Gauge Tall BellBottom Railroad Lantern with Etched Extended Base Globe.Manufactured by theSteam Gauge & Lantern Company, the lantern is strongly embossed “P.R.R.” on the shoulder in ½” lettering. Absolutely nodents, dings or gouges in the smoke-dome or crown top from normal use (seephotos). There are no gouges, dents, dings, excessive rust or any other damageto the lantern. The single wire guard frame with detachable Bell Bottom is inoutstanding condition, has no bent wires, is solid, has a nice brown patinathat takes years to acquire and stands straight. It has a heavy Crystal Clear 5⅜”Extended Base Globe in excellent condition, with absolutely no rim-flaking. TheGlobe is very strongly etched with “P.R.R.”in very bold ½” lettering. The detachable Bell Bottom with fount and E.MillerCo. All Brass Burner is in excellent condition, with no apparent holes, gouges,dents or dings of any kind.
