RARE RESIN MODEL - 1992 MINT Already an acclaimed actor in Europe, Peter Lorre’s first American film was “Mad Love” in 1933, with Lorre portraying the sinister Dr. Gogol in the early horror classic. Here is the legendary Lorre as that diabolical doctor, handsomely captured as a rare resin model, mint in its box after 25 years. The kit was produced way back in 1992 as a limited edition by Dimensional Designs, one of the pioneering forces in the American garage kit movement. This is kit 34, one of the earlier castings from DD\'s original molds, purchased at the time of the model\'s initial release. It\'s also an early effort by sculptor Randy Lambert, who crafts a figure that’s movie accurate, with a superb likeness to Lorre. Also included is a handsome thematic display base, complete with a sandwich-board sign, two miniature paper posters (Theatre of Horrors), and a sculpted movie nameplate. Kit components are cleanly cast in solid off-white resin, requiring only minor prep work prior to assembly. It\'s a 1/6 scale figure model, measuring approx. 11 1/2\" tall x 8 1/2\" wide x 8\" deep when built.
