The early Conrad Frog is a made of rubber and has a single hook tied to each of its hind legs. It can be found in a large variety of brown and green colors. Around 1932 Pflueger changed the design a bit, giving the frog a single weedless belly hook. The hook for this later version of the frog was done in one of two ways: it was either run through the inside the frog with the hook eye used as the line attachment, or it was wrapped around the outside of the frogs belly and attached to the body with staples on the belly and the back rear of the frog.
