This is a Pflueger Medalist fly reel model 1594RC. The reel is NEW! It has never even been mounted, however line has been spooled. the 1500 series are similar to the 1400 series except they have a better drag including an exposed rim for rim control, allowing you to easily \"palm\" the reel to slow running fish. The 1594 accommodates a 7 or less weight line without backing. The 1500 series is difficult to find particularly NEW. Includes box and original instruction sheet
