You are offerding on a beautiful Pioneer QX-949A quadraphonic receiver. This massive receiver is in near perfect cosmetic condition and superb working order. With a minimum of 60 watts per channel in stereo mode and nearly 40 watts per channel in quad mode, this receiver packs enough punch to drive just about any quality set of speakers with ease.
The controls and switches on this unit have been cleaned and lubed for years of smooth and silent operation. All lights are working and the flywheel tuning is silky smooth. Sound output is rich and robust like you expect from top of the line vintage Pioneer equipment. You will also be impressed by the huge array of features at your fingertips (check the list below). Please note that the left rear channel is somewhat weak in comparison the right rear channel if you plan to use this receiver in Quad mode.
