3pt Log Grapple

Make your own hydraulically operated log grapple to mount off of a tractor\'s category 1 3pt Hitch. The tractor will need one set of hydraulic remotes to operate the grapple cylinder.

Pick up and place logs without ever leaving the tractor seat.

Basic welding and cutting skills necessary. You will also need the following tools.

Welder

Torch or Metal Cutting Saw

Drill (3/4, 5/8 and 1/2 inch bits)

Project cost of $275

Plans include simple step by step written plans with digital photographs of the steps as the prototype was constructed. No difficult to follow blueprints or CAD drawings. Plans are 11 pages long. They include a complete bill of materials and 28 photographs.
