This was the last style produced for AMF/Roadmaster Pedal Cars after 1988. It was used on all models of AMF/Roadmaster pedal cars and fire trucks. It replaced a two-spoke solid plastic steering wheel that was discontinued due to breakage and unsafe sharp points (after breaking). The wheel fits a 3/8\" dia. steering rod, and attaches with a locking pin and tinnerman cap - both included. The outside diameter is 7-1/2\" . The center hub has slots for a horn button, but this button was never provided and not used by AMF /Roadmaster because of the need for the locking cap.

This is a replacement option for older style two-spoke solid plastic steering wheels. The buyer may need to drill a new hole in their steering shaft if their car used a two-spoke wheel - instructions for retrofitting are provided.
