It is POI \'ULU from Varez\'s Culture, History and Activities series\\It is signed in pencil by the artist and dated 1981
The entire paper measures 23 1/4 x 17 1/4, but the image measures 19 x 13 3/4
I acquired this piece in an estate sale that was owned by a retired navy officer who seemed to travel a lotbecausehe had a wide variety of original artwork from around the world, this being one of the pieces. I do not know anything about thispieceother then from a little research I have done on the artist.

By nature Varez is a quiet and retiring man, he lives with his wife Linda (also a noted painter) in a remote rain forest setting near Volcano Village on the Big Island.
