Antique French Reproduction doll marked SFBJ 247 Paris MildredBrelick #3 1978. Doll is a real darling with her long curly sandy blond wigwhich does appear to be glued and her medium brown eyes. She is made of porcelain with fully jointed body to include knees and wrists and measures22\" in length. The artist, Mrs. Brelick was from Frederick MD andpassed away in 2007. She was known for making and reproducing antiqueporcelain dolls and figures, landscape paintings and could sew just about anythingfrom clothes to quilts. I don\'t know if she made the the doll\'s clothingbut there are no tags in any of the clothes. No rips or tears on any of the clothing. Her hat is a little big for her and may just need a pin to keep it in place. She is wearing a lovely gold starburst brooch with a faux green emerald middle stone. Doll is verylovely but her head and limbs are a little loose. She will stand on ametal stand (not included), but at some point will need to be restrung. She has 2 painted dots in the corners of her eyes for realism. These are a little off-center.
