Original Portuguese Model 1885 Bayonet made to fit Kropatschek or Guedes rifle. Very well made, long 18 1/4\" yatagan type blade - overall 23.5\" long. Bayonet was made by Steyr in 1886 and is marked on the blade \"Steyr 1886\" and \"OEWG\". Bayonet comes with nice, clean scabbard with tang also marked \"OEWG\". No dings or dents on the scabbard - tang slightly loose and moving. Reference: Janzen\'s Notebook, p. 157 No. 1
