PRE-COLUMBIAN JAMACOAQUE FIGURAL WHISTLE

As seen in the photo, the figure stands just around 7\" tall. It weighs a nice amount for it\'s size and is very solid. There are no cracks and if you look closely you can see that some areas retain the original colors, like blues and reds. The piece is said to date between 1100 - 1300 AD. This is an area of history research that is only now growing in popularity. It is currently believed that these types of whistles were used in rituals and for pleasure.
