Up for sale is anOriginal pre-WWI EraUSArmyM1909 Bolo Knifewith Leather Scabbard. The Knifehas a bright finish with some minor discoloration from age. No nicks or chips in the blade. No evidence of excessive sharpening. Nor rust or pitting. The blade is markedSA 1913 with the flaming bomb on one side and US 17329 on the other side. The walnutgrips are in good conidition,see photo\'s. They are marked with the initals \"JRL\", probablya soldiers initals. The leather scabbard is a3rd pattern with the grommet at the tip. The scabbard is marked Rock Island Arsenal 1913 H.E.K. There is a repair at the base of the belt loop. The leather is soft and supple, all seams are intact. Please see photo\'s for condition.
