QUADRAFLEX 575 HI-FI VINTAGE Offering a beautiful Quadraflex 575 Hi-Fi stereo receiver,15 WPC @ 8 ohm, with excellentcircuitry -when you hear it, you will agree. Fully seriviced,and ready for plug and play.
BACKGROUND:Quadraflex was a Mid-Fi line built for Pacific Stereo in the 1970s-80s. The manufacture that produced these also built manyRealistic upper level models. Excellent component, quiet phono, great tuner.COMPARISON: We bench tested this 575 beside a Marantz 2216B. Volume levels, output andacoustics sounded pretty much identical.The 575 tunerout performed the 2216B.PERFORMANCE: With a very underrated15 Watts RMS x 2 at 8 ohm, connected to ourKlipschFortes- Producesstunning imaging, with solid warm Bass, fluid midrange and clear non-harsh highs. FM has very accuratereception. Filled the room at 30% volume.PHONO INPUT: With a Marantz 6100 turntable we played the Beatles “Abbey Road” album – \'Come Together\' was amazing. No hum or noise. SERVICING: All switches and shafts cleaned, lubed and are silky smooth. All main display lamps replaced with new lamps. FM stereo light and meter works fine. Main power capacitors perform within recommended limits, Absolutelynonoise whatsoever. COSMETICALLY: InVery nice condition. FACEPLATE: Solid plate aluminum very clean, with a few light scratches.
