I\'m streamlining my reel collection, which translates intoan outstanding buying opportunity for you.Up for grabs is a tricked out Cabo 20 star drag. The reel is brand new, but it had some line spooled on it once. It\'s the best conventional star drag to have come out of the Zebco family brands, I believe it has been discontinued, but most parts are interchangeable with Fin Nor Offshore and Lethal reels. The gear set on this reel is all-stainless steel. With the following mods and upgrades, it performs as good or better as any high end star drag in its class:

• Giant (but light - knob is hollow) aluminum after-market handle for better cranking power.
• Drag tensionwasher stack doubled from the from factory set of 2 to a set of 4 with (())configuration - this provides a much better drag performance, and spreads out the metal fatigue that tensions washers are susceptible to in this type of a reel.
• Drag washers replaced with greased Carbontex upgrades from SmoothDrag - these are infinitely better than the stock washers.
  
• 2 of the bigger spool bearings replaced with high quality upgrades from SmoothDrag, de-greased and drowned in light bearing oil. The tiny 3d spool bearing in the spool cap was left as-is.
  
• Useless cast control contraption pulled - no training wheels on my reels.
• All exposed internal metal surfaces greased with Cal\'s for long life and performance.
  
• Important notice: if you are interested in converting this reel to a low geared 4.3:1 powerhouse (which also increases top end drag by 30%), I can do it for $40.00 (brass pinion, stainless main) on top of the winning offer, and will, of course, included the high gear set in your purchase.
