Up for offers is the R-23A/ARC-5 Avionics Radio Receiver. These radios were made from the early 1940\'s til about 1950. The radio is clean and in good overall condition. The case is clean, the black paint shows some wear from years of storage. The dynamotor is also clean, but shows some pitting on the nameplate-visible in photos. The radio appears to have its original tubes. The front panel is clean. The radio is offered as shown in the photos. I have no knobs, covers, paperwork or accessories to offer with the radio. Coverage: 190 - 550kHz. This radio is part of AN/ARC-5 Radio Set. It is similar to the BC-435 (part of Radio Set SCR-274). 11 X 4 1/2 X 5 1/2 inches in size. About 12 pounds well-packed. Untested. !!
