The scanner itself its in great condition overall. Looks and smells new
Discriminator tap is in the side for easy access.Also comes with the original box as you can see.
In order to use the Discriminator feature you must use a PC with the proper software. Simply hook up the output of the tap from the Pro-164 via the 3.5mm output in the rear and hook it up to the microphone in port of your PC/Laptop. Configure a few settings and you will be good to go.
Plenty of videos on Youtube on how to get this software up and running so you can get this working properly to decode. Just simply search under DSDplus.
