A beautiful and exceedingly rare antique bridle rosette- it is pony size at 1 1/2\" diameter, with an early style brass back and riveted brass loop that is tight and not bent.The image is great- I call it a \"weathervane\" horse, because it resembles the old horse weathervanes that one saw on barns in the old days. The horse is trotting, and is brown with a full tail. It actually looks like a Morgan.The crystal is the old swirled glass and is violet in color. Again, very unusual. There are some teeny abrasions on the edges of the crystal, but nothing that would detract from the rosette.Mailed Priority in a box. Thank you for considering this one for your collection.
