Hickok 580 Tube Tester.
This was acquired with the intention of rebuilding for use,but I have not had the time to do so...I\'ve also read it\'s a lot of work getting these going properly.
Powered up slowly on a variac when first received some time ago after cleaning the unit first,replaced tube chart light which was burnt out, otherwise have not serviced nor used this unit in service.
I will include a poorly printed but mostly legible copy of the 580/580A manualwith supplemental and obsolete tube charts as well.When this tester is working properly after replacing obsolete components and re- calibrating, you should be able to test almost every tube (besides high power transmitting) ever invented.
Sold as/is for restoration or repair.
