100% Original WW2 cased Japanese Naval ship\'s 15 x 80 optics.Made by IAKATIHO of Tokyo.Case includes optics, misc tools, brush and four extra eyepieces.Including the rubber eye cups, these binoculars measure 19 inches in overall length.The exterior finish of these optics isfantastic -- with beautiful paint.Both eyepieces rotate and focus.Looking at the surface of all lenses, I see no scratches or chips.Looking through one of the objective ends, I see what I would describe as small frost ringsto one side (see last photo). I do notbelieve these are chips.Looking through the other objective lens, I see some (again, what I would term) light spidering.These binoculars do not rattle and show no sign of loose parts.I have not attempted in anyway to clean them--the lensesare dusty.I don\'t think thesehave any serious issues but let\'s agree they are not perfect.At minimum they need a good professional cleaning.Case is in overall decent shape with some expected splits in the wood, etc..Clearly any expertise I may have is not in the field of optics.
