Large 10\" tall , 9\" x 4.5\" at bottom showing an imperious figure, with the dragon coiled around the neck, and the large disc ring I would go towards the mysterious & magical rather than the military though the posture, collar and hat hint at that....Fu Manchu I say!!!!  ceramic pottery done in red glaze, no damage, bottom is felt covered so no makers mark showing, a nice unusual vintage lamp. I put in a standard base smaller candelabra type bulb and it looks and works great, push button switch on back also!!
