Up for sale we have an adorable Karl Himmelstoss design Dachshund figurine made by Rosenthal. This rare 1917 design of a dachshund caught in the act of \"doing his business\" measures 3\" high by 5\" long, and is about 1.5\" wide. As seen in the photos this figurine is in mint condition. The last photo shows a \"BP\" signature and what I believe to be a makers mark from after 1956. Karl Himmelstoss (1867 - 1967) was one of Rosenthals premieredesigners, and the level of detail on this dachshund shows why.
