It\'s round with diameter of 21\" across made of polished andlacqueredBrazil Wood. The inside of circle 16½\" with a glass top that covers, seals and protects the shimmering blue Morpho butterfly wings underneath that is laid out as a chess board withBrazilian landmarks on the edges. The chess board measures 11½\" x 11½\" with each square 1¼\" x 1¼\" with half the squares being black, the other half with inlaid blue Morphos. Despite it\'s age the Morphos is not faded, broken or moved out of positions. The original sales tags & stamps is still attached.
